After many years of working with insurance providers, several years ago we decided to change how we did things and here’s why…

Services that insurance companies may not consider medically necessary, does not mean they are not clinically appropriate or necessary for my patients. I didn’t want my patients to think that just because an insurance company doesn’t cover something, doesn’t mean the treatment isn’t necessary. A service limited by insurance will not affect my patients, because they know that as a conservative physician, the care I recommend is going to be the care they need.

The reality is that insurance companies pay a reduced, pre-set amount for chiropractic care, regardless of the doctor’s experience. As an experienced Doctor of Chiropractic, I believe spending quality time with my patients is essential and contributes to their success, as well as mine.

• Time to do my own therapies, providing more time to communicate  with my patients regarding their health questions and goals

Our goal is to provide quality healthcare at an affordable rate. Without third party interference or having to rely on insurance companies, we can charge a fair and reasonable rate that correlates with our experience and service without insurance rate reductions.  We run the clinic in the best interest of our patients.

• We are a pay at time-of-service clinic and accept cash, checks (local), debit, and credit cards. We also accept health savings cards which can be used for all our services.

• We make it very easy to submit self-claims. If you do have insurance and want to submit your claim, we make it easy for you by giving you a complete super bill, along with a claims-addressed envelope for you to mail directly to your insurance provider. Postage stamp included! 

• Medicare is the only insurance that we bill as required by law – you will still pay at the time of service – but we bill Medicare.
